SNEAK PREVIEW SALUTES AGAIN

SNEAK PREVIEW continued the stable’s purple patch of form with a third straight win at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

After back-to-back wins at Eagle Farm and the Sunny Coast, the 8YO returned to his home track and promptly built a picket fence with a come-from-behind victory under in-form jockey Cejay Graham.

The talented apprentice had been in the saddle for both SNEAK PREVIEW’s previous wins, and she resumed the partnership in the Benchmark 85 Handicap (1800m).

The pair still had plenty of work to do at the 400m mark, but they gradually ate into the leader’s advantage and a powerful late surge saw SNEAK PREVIEW score his 12th career win.

With $472,635 in earnings, SNEAK PREVIEW has been a stalwart for the stable and his victory took our recent record to four wins and two minor placings from seven starters.

“I loved the way he pinned his ears back and really wanted to win,” said David.

“It was so great to see him be so strong late. It was a very hot day but he’s pulled up well, which was wonderful.

“Cejay said they went slow in the early stages, she got a bit worried when they got shuffled back but he got the run just in time. The horse goes so well for Cejay, it’s a great partnership and long may it continue.”

Many congratulations to SNEAK PREVIEW’s ownership group: Mr B Hurley, Mr M J Nestor, Mr K Hurley, Mr D Hurley, Mr M S Johnston, Mr P C Maher, Mr M J Coady, EST M Morris, Mr P F Lindsay, Mr H C Vernon, Mr D Lander, Mr M B McClintock and HOPER RACING.
