LADY LUCIFER capped a dream week for the stable when she became our sixth runner in five days to greet the judge first.
The mare destroyed her rivals at the Sunshine Coast to register back to back wins over the track and trip.
Shortly after ANNIE ONE READY had scored her second career victory, LADY LUCIFER powered away under Michael Rodd to seal our third stable double of the week.
LADY LUCIFER has now amassed earnings of $43,000, having never finished outside the top two in her four career appearances.
“She surprised me today,” said Rodd.
“When I gave her a squeeze, she went past the favourite easily. So I knew we had him beat, then she picked up really well and was very strong to the line. Given the way she finished off her race, I think 1200 metres would be the go with her next time.
