Star performer GYPSY GODDESS was rewarded for her Group 1 efforts in QLD and NSW after being crowned the Australian 3YO Filly of the Year for the 2021/22 racing season.
The daughter of Tarzino claimed the honour against a strong field of fillies based on her performances in claiming the G1 Queensland Oaks and finishing second in the G1 ATC Oaks.
During a stellar three-year-old season, she also claimed G3 victory in the Grand Prix Stakes as well as finishing third in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes and second in the Gold Coast Bracelet.
With six wins and three minor placings from nine career starts, GYPSY GODDESS has amassed over $970,000 in prizemoney ahead of her upcoming 4YO campaign.
Trainer David Vandyke has targeted the $10 Million Golden Eagle at Royal Randwick on October 29 as her one and only aim over the Spring Carnival.
