AMITY GAL GOES BANG AGAIN

AMITY GAL secured back-to-back wins when she dominated her rivals at her home track on Sunday.

Having claimed a second career victory at Eagle Farm at the start of September, the mare promptly brought up win number three with a dominant display in the Class 2 Handicap (1000m) at the Sunshine Coast.

The daughter of Shamus Award pinged the lids from barrier nine, allowing Ryan Maloney to take her straight to the front of the pack.

Maloney held AMITY GAL together before giving her a shake of the reins at the 400m mark, when she put a swiftly gap on her rivals to win by two-and-a-half lengths eased down.

The comfortable win took her race record to three victories and two minor placings from six starts, and carried her prizemoney earnings to $83,650.

Congratulations to her owner-breeder Harris Farm Racing and Matthew Irwin.
